The miso soup's pretty good; Ellen requests a bowl of her own from the Bar. "It's been kind of busy at home," she says. "There was someone who wanted me dead. That was kind of a surprise."

Tanya had a whole day to recover from the morning breakdown. Time to sleep, time to hydrate herself, and to get de-hangovered.

That is why she is downstairs to get a meal, with all the energy of someone who gave up on all romantic illusions. "Hello, Ellen. How are you?"
