Arnold rolls in on a wave of serenity.

"School troubles, Billy?"

"A month's worth," Billy agrees. "And I'm pretty sure the teacher added extra."

"Why would they do that?" That's not a very nice thing to do to a cool kid like Billy, after all.

"Because they all hate me," Billy declares.

"Hey, sweetheart," Teddy says softly, coming up behind him and pulling Billy's chin up before setting down his own laden backpack. "Want some help?"

Billy looks up and offers a kiss. "No. You've got your own to do."

"Well," Teddy starts, and then is distracted from whatever he was going to say and opts to kiss Billy back instead.

"Can work on some of it together," he points out after their lips pull apart.

"Yup." Billy pulls Spanish out of the pile. "Bleh."

"Well that pile looks less than entertaining." Charlie is leaning over the back of the booth, glancing over the titles.

Spanish for Beginners, Pre-calculus, a writing style manual, a grammar text book, The Scarlet Letter, the Grapes of Wrath, and Moby Dick. Indeed, a boring pile.

Billy might have said something sarcastic, but it's muffled by his arm.

"Do yourself a favor and get the Cliff's Notes for those books. They're...morbid."

"I hate to do that, but you're probably right." Billy's the sort of person who reads the books, and then the cliff notes just to make sure he's gotten everything.

Clearly, what he needs is a tiny genius. A tiny genius who, admittedly, had his first nightmare and is therefore not precisely at his best, but a tiny genius nonetheless.

"Hello?"

Billy looks up, blinking at him, and then smiles. It's the boy with the snowmen!

"Hi."

He does not, sadly, have a snowman this time.

"Are you all right?"

"I'm fine," He says, quickly. "Just dreading all the homework."

Zexion picks up a textbook and starts paging through it.
