Charlie watches the blind man reading the Braille sheets. It's fascinating to see something so tactile at work. He wonders if Richard (a man who pretended to be wheelchair-bound for a year just to see what it's like) learned Braille just to see if hands that could kill could also read.

"Good morning," he says as to not be totally rude.

"Morning," says Whistler, lifting his head and turning in the approximate direction of the voice. It's hard to triangulate from just two words, even with his ears. "How's it going?"

"Not badly. Cold outside and a bit icy today. The same as always in here." He assumes that the one thing a blind man not dressed for outside might not know is the weather.

"The things I don't miss, living in San Francisco." Whistler shakes his head, amused, and turns a little more to correct his earlier position. "I think I can live without going outside today, for once."

"Hi, Whistler." Suzi, with her usual jingling noises, heads his way as soon as she sees him.

"Hey, Suz." Whistler grins, turning in the direction of the jingles. "How's it going out there?"

"I've picked the site for my store." she says proudly, "It's little, but in a nice neighborhood and has lots of places for all of you to start thinking about security."

"Excellent," says Whistler. "Looking forward to scoping the place out already. When's it available for us to come take a look?"
