A suit of men's clothing appears in the bar near the door. And even more strangely, they appear suspended at the correct height for a man to be wearing them -- as though the Invisible Man had gotten himself an excellent tailor

Jim, taking in a cup of coffee, is rather startled by the empty suit, and only a bit less startled by the appearance of a man within them. He assumes he's just witnessed a highly unusual transporter beam at work.

"Er, hello."

"Good day, sir," Tesla replies with a nod of his head. "I hope I didn't startle you."

"You did, a bit. I'm not sure what's more surprising, that you transported here at all, or that you seem to have arrived in stages." Theoretically, you could beam someone without their clothes, or clothes with the person, but even Scotty on his best day would have trouble doing essentially two beam-ups at once.

"My apologies, then," he says quickly. "The particular mode of transportation that I employ cannot move organic and inorganic matter at the same time. Either can be sent, but not together."
