There's another woman, also small of frame (but not nearly as well-endowed), reading Stuart Little. The clack of needles registers after a few seconds, though, and she looks up curiously. "What's that?"

"Knitting!" Suzi chirps, "It's a way of making clothing, toys, and other things out of string. Sime learn it as a way of getting used to our tentacles after Changeover."

she waves one in explanation.

"Ah," Chell says expressively, not sure what to make of that. The tentacles, though different than ones she's seen, are still close enough to bring a minute shudder. "I think... do you use yarn?" One of the neighbors might have knitted, when she was a child, but Chell's not sure.

"Yes! Not wool, though. I'm terribly allergic to it, which is pretty common for channels."

She knows about people having tentacle issues. She just doesn't let it bug her. She is what she is.

He had come back in from his own world to check on Zexion, and noticed the woman by the fire right away.

"Hello."

"Hi." Suzi blinks up at him, "It is always so weird to see very, very large humans who are not Gen. Anyway."

Steve looks down at himself. Alright then.

"I don't think I caught your name yesterday, ma'am."

"Hajene Suzi Grace Darley ambrov Farris, First Channel in Farris." Suzi says, offering one hand (and assorted tentacles, they come with the arm after all). "Just call me Suzi, unless you're being terribly formal, Naztehr...?"

Teja gets the note later, when he comes in from his forge-work, and asks for a drink at the bar.

He reads it with great interest and nods, his hunch confirmed. Yes, indeed, when he saw Zexion in the library, on the floor, ministered to by Steve Rogers and others, he had indeed gained a heart, in the short moments between vanishing out of the talk he was having with Teja, and that event.

And 'a very large Nobody' -- that had to be Lexaeus, then, for while Xaldin was tall, he was not 'very' large. Only hulking, quiet Lexaeus, whose element is Earth, could be described thus.

Teja sips his drink and nods. Three down, four to go...
