Atton's being musical.

He's out back, sat in a tree with his legs dangling, playing on a harmonica. He's more than a little rusty, but it isn't too bad. Not ear-hurtingly bad, at least.

Botherable.

He's nice to listen to and Will hops up in the tree beside him to listen.

Atton gives Will a brief look as he continues playing for a few more minutes, before eventually setting the harmonica away in his pocket.

"How goes your poetry?"

"'avena been workin' on it as much."

[stuck_mynock]

"Understandable. Sure you'd make a great poet, though. Just don't think too hard about it." Shrug. "How've you been?"

"I did not know you played music," Teja says, coming by.

[stuck_mynock]

"I don't," Atton says, holding the harmonica up. "This is just a passing distraction. I picked up a few things from some other pilots, back during the war. I'm not too good, though, music isn't really my thing."

"But at least you make it yourself, instead of only ever listening to it on a device," Teja says.

[stuck_mynock]

Wryly: "Well, I don't have a device to hand."

There is a small blonde girl staring up at him, teetering slightly as if she's about to fall.

Her mother and sister are going to catch up to her soon, but for now Kaelyn points up at Atton and goes "gi'ka!"

Maybe this is Atton's new ~*nickname*~

But Atton wants a cool nickname! He looks slightly woeful.

"No. Am not a gizka."

Kaelyn pouts. And points up at him again as her mother and sister finally catch up. "Mama, gi'ka."

Kira snorts and sets Ellia on the ground. "Yes, Uncle Atton does look like a gizka. Very good, sweetie."

"No. Do not look like a gizka!" Atton protests.

Sam's coat? Is evidently getting a good dose of fresh air, given that Medusa keeps stealing it. So, one Gorgon, outside, wings hidden and stolen boyfriend's jacket on.

Also somewhat confused expression.

"What are you playing?"

"Just tunes. Nothing in particular."

[mycursedface]

"We do that. Well, sing, not play, but-" she gestures with a jingle of bracelets.

"I meant the instrument."

[stuck_mynock]

"S'called a harmonica."

Somewhere down below, a black-and-white haired boy is looking up curiously. He scratches the back of his head.

"...You stuck?"

[stuck_mynock]

"No. Why would I be?"

[flipswitch_moo]

"Well, you were in a tree. It's just polite to ask these things."

[stuck_mynock]

"The kinda person to get stuck usually isn't too likely t'get up in the first place."
