Guppy wasn't supposed to be there. He wasn't even near the epicentre. But riots spread, and he quickly found himself in hot water.
Not all the blood on him is his, but enough of it that he snuck through the bar to the back, to catch his breath and wait until his hands stop shaking so he can give himself first aid without making a mess. He leans on the wall and tries to breathe.
Calm down. First aid. Get help. How hard can it be?
