Carlos looks a little bedraggled as he makes his way into the bar, leaning somewhat on his staff, but he makes an effort to smile as he walks to the counter.

An 'x' name, and he's pretty sure this is what Axel was talking about when he mentioned 'dressed like me'. He'd been thinking they would look more similar, but that wasn't what had been said. No wonder Axel always did that 'memorized' thing.

To anyone else, it probably just sounded like an introduction. But to Carlos, it's something a lot more.

Xaldin is all he needs. It's Nothing and willpower and Air.

III of XIII is just the icing on the cake. Or, if necessary, the doublebolt on the lock.

"I go by Ramirez," he says in return, not a hint of what he'd Heard in his smile or in his eyes.

He warns some people about what Names mean.

He doesn't warn everyone.

He is not the Regional Warden of the Western United States because he's got a hot ass.

That's just a bonus.
