The door opens, as it does on occasion, to a block of pure, white light, and a rather imposing figure of a man stands silhouetted in the glare before stepping through. It blacks out half of Manhattan to do it, but once again, David Xanatos has pried open the barrier between time and space to enter Milliways

Charlie, nursing a mineral water and reading one of the books on Zen in his room's small library, overhears the man's request. It seems a bit of a cheat, somehow, to get the newspaper early. But if the man was supposed to get it early, is it really a cheat?

"Good morning."

Xanatos looks up and nods amiably. "Good morning to you," he replies smoothly.

"Something interesting in the newspapers today?" He's curious. He's always curious.

"Just the usual collection of corporate saber-rattling and name-calling," Xanatos says with a shrug. "Though it does look like Virtutech is going to be having some rather interesting malfunctions in about three days."
