"Miniver?"

He cracks one eye open.

"Rrr," would be a fair approximation of his reply. Only because he likes Guppy too much to say something nasty.

"What's the matter, are you hurt?" he asks gently.

Guppy is used to being yelled at.

He closes his eyes again.
