In a booth in the corner, is Inyri Forge, with several datapads, two drained glasses of alcohol and a cigarette between her fingers.

(In reality, she's forgotten about the cigarette and it's just burning away...she'll realise that when she gets burned).

Very botherable.

The bar is fairly busy when Christian arrives, looking for some inspiration and maybe something to eat. He spots a woman in the corner, smoking and absorbed with items he doesn't recognize. He takes a seat at a nearby booth, opens his notebook and pulls his pencil from where it is resting above one ear.

He writes:

The woman looks thoughtful and distracted at the same time, as if she can't decide whether she wants to focus on something or just forget. The empty glasses suggest that she's trying to relax, but the way the cigarette burns unattended tells a different story.

The cigarette finally burns to her fingertips and with a soft "Kriff!" she drops it to the table.

After a moment she cleans the mess up with a napkin and looks at the slight burn on her finger. Shrugging it off, she scrolls back through what she just read.

He doesn't know what 'kriff' means, but gathers from the context that it is probably an expletive. The burn on her finger doesn't seem to worry her, but he feels like he should offer something.

"Aloe," he says softly.

She glances up, sharply before tilting her head. "I'm sorry, what?"

No burning; Wes takes the cigarette as he sits opposite and stubs it out in an ash tray.

Just for good measure, he pours water over it (having stolen an abandoned glass from a nearby table).

Not that he's making a point or anything.

She raises her eyebrows at him. "That's just a waste of water."

Bemused: "A waste of water? You know it's free, right?"

"Tell that one to Tatooine." Inyri smiles as she looks back down at her datapads.
