She notices someone sitting down the bar a ways away from her in her periphery, so when she casually glances over to see who it is and finds herself greeted by a smile, she can't help but return it. It's the polite thing to do, of course.
And though Fancy New Beesly is more confident and self-assured (she hopes), she will always be polite.
"Can't say that I have," she replies, shrugging. But, then again, she's still unfamiliar with quite a few places and names as far as Milliways is concerned.
"Are you sure you want to stick to just water then?" Pam adds curiously.
There is a non-hologram heading up to the bar, to order himself some coffee and tiramisu after a long day at work. He gives Pam an amiable smile and nod by way of greeting.
"The desserts here are sure something else, aren't they?"

Presently, he's pretty tired, but not feeling particularly grumpy or otherwise moody.
Heading over to the bar, he takes a seat a few stools down from her, muttering a quick, "Just water, Bar," before offering her a mild smile.

"I can't say I've tried them all, but my past dessert experiences have been pretty good."

He picks up his coffee cup as it arrives. "Things like you can get in New York, but aren't the same anywhere else. You miss what you grew up with."
