There was a living sculpture sitting, or rather, kneeling, on a chair. Before her was a glass of juice with a long, curly straw and a plate of sliced veggies. She was slowly eating a salad, if chunks large enough to spear could be called such. Healthy meals were a necessity now it seemed ( Read more... )

Stark peers at the 'living statue' with curious eyes. He scratches absentmindedly at his cheek, not making much sound nor yet approaching her.

She seemed to be made of diamond, if diamond came in crimson that was. The feet that were carefully not on the chair were clawed, and her hands ended in the same, only longer.

For all that, she seemed absolutely delighted to be trying different things. Currently? She had a bit of carrot skewered on a finger, and she was nibbling it delicately.

Stark finally has his curiousity get the better of him, and he approaches. He hangs his head for a moment.

"If you will excuse my interruption, I would beg of you a question."

Her eyes were bright, pupil-less blue as she glanced up at him curiously, but her smile never waned. A bit of careful maneuvering and she managed to get the carrot sliced off her finger before she gestured politely to a chair.

He could ask any questions he liked!

Sharpe's been coming to Milliways for a long time, and still never seen anyone quite like her.

She's clearly a child, though, even with her differences, and so she gets a smile from him in passing.

Smiles received smiles in turn, though hers was crimson and diamond edged! She even offered a skewered piece of broccoli to be polite!

Well, it'd be rude to refuse. He stopped, turning towards her, and accepted the broccoli, taking it carefully from her finger.

"Thanks, lass."

She shifted her hair, making it chime as she clicked her claws together. A translator at her wrist chattered "Well come sir"

The man spoke kind of like Sean! That had her beaming.

Ben watched kid for a while, how she sat and how she ate. How she did her best to not damage the things around her, a way of holding yourself he was all to familiar with.

"You should try those roasted or grilled sometime." He offered helpfully from a table over where he was eating a bucket full of buffalo wings and drinking a pitcher sized glass of beer.

She tilted her head in a rush of chimes, eying the nearby man before she offered a dazzling, diamond smile "Hard pick up if soft" she admitted sheepishly. "Cook any usual too soft"

Or rather, the translator on her wrist admitted after she chimed at him a bit.

Ben holds up his hand with his fingers spread. "Yah I know, that's why puttin' them on a kabob helps." He takes a look at her fingers and then mimes holding one, "Except you can't really grab things that small can yah? Sorry."

"Names Ben. You?"

She held up her hand in as he did his, displaying overly long, overly sharp claws "Cut most things" she wasn't sure what a kabob was, but she was pretty sure she'd cut through it easy!

"I am Penny. I am mute" she chimed her standard greeting cheerfully. Then she offered him a chunk of carrot on a claw.
