He'd been on his way to the library when the door opened up onto the unusual sight of Milliways. It has been some time since Goliath has been here, less on his side then in the bar itself, and it gives him pause. The last time he was in he was bound for some time. Still, it would be interesting to have another look around and perhaps take some time ( Read more... )

Medusa is...well, ignoring the wingspan (twelve feet), Medusa is fairly small. And so it is that it is from size alone that Goliath gets a wary glance.

It's a glance that lengths because wings and talons and someone just as obviously not human as herself.

But still, size and stranger and that curious glance from the snake-and-braid tressed Gorgon is cautios.

It doesn't take long for Goliath to realize he's being watched and to catch sight of the strange woman not too far away.

She is eyed just as cautiosly, with care taken to avoid her eyes. He can't be certain who this woman is but there are many indications that mark her as one from myths he's read before. A dangerous creature, if he remembers correctly.

Her eyes are beautiful, dark and heavy-lidded and intense. Also covered by a pair of wire-framed glasses. Her fingers (and brass claws as they've slid out in tension) skate over the table's surface (chairs and wings do not always get along, so tables are easier), and she takes a deep breath.

"Are you new?" She asks at last, voice flute-like and pretty.

He is wary and doesn't miss the appearance of the claws. His own curl slightly and his tail stops its swaying motion as he tenses slightly.

"No. I have been here before, though it has been some time." He answers her, voice deep but level.
