Valerie's claimed a table near the bar, notebook at one hand and tea at the other. While she waits for her interviewee, she's flipping idly through a copy of Macbeth.

Yrael received the note earlier this week, and wandered into the bar tonight wondering who he was supposed to be looking for.

The lady who looks like she is sitting for a purpose, with a notebook near to hand, seems to be a safe bet.

He approaches, smiling in greeting. "Evening."

She glances up, returning the smile. "Evening. Would you be Yrael?"

She fairly mangles the name, and looks like she knows it.

His smile doesn't falter as he takes one of the chairs at her table. "Indeed I would be. That would make you Valerie."

"That's me," she confirms, offering a hand across the table. "Good Lord, did I get it right?"

The only problem with bjorns is how they leave wee!Valerie's hands and arms free to grab things. Like hair, as Sarah Jane discovers when she walks by Valerie's table. Thankfully, wee!Valerie hasn't quite perfected her grip yet.

"Oh, I'm so sorry!" Sarah Jane apologises as she quickly moves away from the woman. Then, she smiles when she recognizes her. "Oh. Hullo, Valerie."

"Ah--"

Valerie starts, looking up, and then beams. "Oh, hello, you two!"

"Valerie, say hi to Valerie." Sarah giggles and waves the baby's arm. Valerie simply stares at her namesake and attempts to reach for her hair again.

Sarah rolls her eyes. "She says hello."

"She's terribly eloquent."

She offers a finger to grab in lieu of her hair, and grins at Sarah. "Would you like to sit? I'm supposed to be interviewing someone for a bartending position, but he hasn't arrived yet."

Flipping idly through Shakespeare? Blasphemy! Please do ignore that I'm not too sweet on Bill. I won't be so blasphemous as to say he's no good, but I won't be so cliche as to fawn. He's a classic. That's all I say. I'm at the bar myself to pick up another non-alcoholic drink. I let out a resigned sigh when the iced tea appears, knowing it's not from Long Island. Oh, well.

Valerie glances up at the sigh, and frowns, concerned.

"Is she not serving right?"

"Oh, she is," I say, with no hidden bitterness.
