From the archery range Will sees her and makes his steps louder,

"Milady Vialle, 'ow do ye fare?"

"Aye, will 'old it with both 'ands for now as the weather warms the Sheriff becomes more dangerous."

"Ah, but he pits himself against a fox and that fox's dangerous allies, William."

Cheerful smile.

[will_scarlett]

He grins and blushes as he ducks his head,

"Aye, 'e does at that."

[serene_visions]

She can just about hear the blush in his voice.

"Faith, my lord Will, faith. Have it on your own account and you will find there is very little you cannot do."

[will_scarlett]

"Try do try for there are those who 'ave it in me."

[serene_visions]

"Good."

She falls silent to sip at her drink.

[will_scarlett]

He sips his cider too, searching for words again,

"'ow go things in Amber?"

[serene_visions]

"Busy," is the immediate answer. "There is little enough time to breath from one meeting to the next. Random works doubly hard."

Vialle is very proud of her husband.

[will_scarlett]

"Oh aye, must be quite difficult, sure 'e's grateful to 'ave ye beside ye."

[serene_visions]

"No," Vialle laughs quietly, "It is I who am grateful he allows me to help him so much in his endeavors."

[will_scarlett]

"Well, 'e's a smart man after all."

[serene_visions]

"Yes. The smartest man I know, Will."

[will_scarlett]

"Did marry ye after all."

[serene_visions]

"Ah. Well. It was death or marriage to me. Not exactly a hard choice to make."

"Then 'e was lucky that 'e was married to ye nonetheless."
