Winter's end may be nearing, but there's a way to go yet, and a certain patron seems determined to enjoy it while it lasts. Outside, barefoot in the snow, a small, dark-skinned androgyne is tumbling about doing cartwheels and balancing on stones. There's someone watching him with a kind of bemused interest from the railing of a ship on the lake.

Every so often, his eyes turn towards the ship. He's studied it from a distance before, and it is of no particular interest to him at the moment; but at some point he does notice a person on it, and stops to look back at him, his manner similar to a wild animal's -- curious, cautious, his expression unreadable.

The gesture is awkwardly returned, as if he's not ENTIRELY certain whether that is the correct response.

Sorve is not easy to scare off. But he is also not easy to comprehend for someone who's never met him or his father.
