Remy meandered his way down the stairs, as he was prone to doing, surprisingly, he'd forgotten what day it was. This didn't happen very often.

Except for the fact that it did.

In any case, he barely even noticed the fwip, nor did he notice the cat ears. He did, however, notice the tail, since that arrived with something more of a bendy-straw ( Read more... )

Someone had noticed the change, and was snickering at his table, with his neck entirely festooned with brightly colored beads.

"Non, not s'much act'lly." He was only marginally easier to understand, thanks to the fangs, because he had to speak more carefully so as not to bite his tongue.

The tail in question was flicking wildly, he glowered over his shoulder at it, focusing intently until the wild flicking calmed to a gentle sway, "Righ', t'at's better."

He blinked, and then snickered, shaking his head and fluffing a hand through his hair, which was when he discovered the ears, "T'at explains it."

He shrugged, "Don' know, t'literal migh' help wit' t'figurative, non?"

And then, sprawling himself into a nearby seat, he said, "How've y'been?"

He blinked up at that, then winced, "Don' suppose y'usually a quadruped t'en?"

He hadn't seen any centaurs around before, didn't mean there weren't any.

One ear cocked at that, which made him look puzzled for a moment, one hand drifting up to touch it, "Huh, whole package I guess."

He shrugged then, beaming at her and padding over, offering a hand, "Remy LeBeau, an' who might I have t'pleasure've meetin'?"
