*Meg's just gotten back from vacation with Lilly. Thus, she looks cheerful, refreshed, and vaguely tropical in costume when she pops into the bar and heads over to the counter for a cup of coffee.*
"Likewise. In fact," he takes out a pocket watch, which he has taken to carrying more regularly, "I'd like to speak with you, but I must get back to the House. I hope your busyness is the good kind, and not the kind fraught with danger and/or adventure."
Merriman has been in and out of the bar, most often to collect a quick cup of tea or a glass of wine and leave almost as soon as he has finished it. But even at a distance, from his position at the bar, the nervous, pent-up energy surrounding Andrew Wells is almost palpable.
The cup of tea served to him gets a thoughtful glance. After a moment's pause for consideration, he picks it up, carries it over to where Andrew is sitting, and deposits the cup on the table with a soft clink of fine china.
'If you will pardon the assumption, Mr Wells, you appear to need this more than I do.' His mouth has a wry sort of quirk to it, but there is a touch of concern in his expression.
'Good to see that you are not of the ranks of the die-hard coffee drinkers in this place,' Merriman replies. 'Then again, stereotype that I am, my biases on the matter are only to be expected.'
A slight tilt of his head, before he adds:
'I also have aspirin, if that might be of further help.'

Professor Lyon? Hi. Thanks.
*That last is rather fervent, as he reaches for the tea.*

*He breathes in the steam from the tea, takes a large sip, grimaces slightly as he swallows.*
