People stumbling down the stairs tend to make a lot of noise, attract a lot of attention.

"--Jesus Christ."

(Seriously, Nita thinks, even as she's jumping out of her seat and running for the stairs, she needs to come here some night when people aren't dying of blood loss.)

She skids to a halt next to him, holding out her hands. "Sir -- sir, will you let me heal you?"

Chad turned his face up at the woman as she spoke, eyes distant and..there was something else there. Fear. Lots and lots of fear. His face was pale white with the two small handprints of a child in red on either cheek. "I couldn't save them..I tried. Wasn't fast enough.."

Looking down Kap shook from head to toe before he finally let her words sink in. "Yeah...yeah..."

"Okay," she says, reaching into her jeans and pulling out a pocketknife. "Okay. Can you tell me where you're hurt worst?"

He's a mess.

"All over?" he croaks, swallowing hard as he holds out his arms where nails have tore deep into the flesh around bite marks. There are various degrees of all these on a good portion of his body.

Reaching out he tried to stop her hands as they reached for something- he had to feel something solid after being in that place. "I..I dreamed this. I dreamed this happened an..an...and.." Words failed Chad for the moment. How do you explain something like this.

For the most part Alice was keeping to herself. But the moment she felt him, that deep root connection with her big brother, she frowned. She'd almost asked the Queen what was wrong with him but instead ran inside from being outside. Blue eyes scanned the place until they fell upon her big brother.

"Kap?"

Confusion... anger at whatever or whoever harmed him all in that tone.

He flinched at his name, the hand still holding onto the rail tightening until the knuckles where a paler white than he looked already. Turning his face in Alice's direction was easier said than done and the expression that was on his face was something Alice would have seen quite a lot in the Hive: fear, panic, and something else akeen to seeing death. "I did try," Kap mumbled hoarsly. "It wasn't my fault.."

She frowns at his words and shakes her head going over to him and putting an arm around his waist. "Hey, nothing is your fault." She states kissing his temple. "Shh... I've got you, big brother." Though she is wondering what the hell happened. Because this... it doesn't sit well with the bio weapon.

"Th-they were all there," Chad says as he swallows hard still seeming to sit dazed on the bottom step. It would be easy to move him- make him stand, shift him to the left or right- if Alice had to. "One. J.D. Rain. Drew. Olga..all of them.."

Daring a look up at Alice was easier said than done because he soon was looking uneased back to the floor. "I let them down...they showed me..they.."

They did this. Each of them.

In a dream. No..a nightmare.
