Sarah looks upward, almost startled by the interruption.

She smiles though. "Hello."

Last minute decisions have saved Sarah's life more than once. She'll never complain about them.

"Sarah Jane," she replies, reaching for one of Valerie's hands to wave. "And this is Valerie. She says it's quite lovely to meet you."

"Mrs. Bond! I see you're doing better. And that you have a baby."

"Mr Skinner," she greets, moving the Teddy into Valerie's eyesight to distract the girl. "Much better, thank you. You haven't met Valerie yet, have you?"

"I haven't had the pleasure."

"Well then."

That obviously needs to be corrected.

"Simon, this is Valerie Bond." Sarah picks up the baby's hand to wave. "Valerie, this is Simon Skinner."
