 Amanda is gazing out in the distance of the observation window. The holiday here has come to an end and now she is relaxing with a cup of tea. Not sure what to be thinking about.

She would be most pleased to be bothered.

And a familiar face is heading her way, to greet Amanda with a kiss and a bright smile. "Hello, Amanda. Did you receive my gift?"

"Hmm, a lot, actually. Motion detectors normally use changes in air pressure... you know, when you move fast, you are disturbing the air, right? Motion detectors are machines that can track your movements, and sound alarms. Laser, are beams of light very concentrated. Since they are light, they are invisible... but if you interrupt one, the laser sensor will register someone just went past. Both are used to secure halls and corridors."

"Do you know how to beat them, get around them, or turn them off?" aah research, she went to the person she most respects to know about such things.

"Motion detectors can be fooled if you move slowly... lasers are more tricky, you have to know where they are, then you can stry to slip past without touching the beam." The tricky part is the lasers being invisible.

Amanda is silent for a while thinking, "You say that lasers are made of light." still thinking, "I have seen light before, in taverns when there is a crack in the window, dust that is disturbed dances in the light." she knows that there is something there but she can't put her finger on it.

"You can use smoke, or fine dust, to see the lasers for a bit. But both methods only reveals the beams for a few seconds, and never in a large area. Too much smoke or dust might spread and attract attention. The best way to defeat lasers, is to have someone insideturn them off long enough for you to go in, then again for you to come out. Or, learn to walk on the ceiling." And he is serious about it.

"Walk on the ceiling? How would one do that?" she is intrigued by this possibility.

[falconryu]

"Hmm, like this." Ryu takes off his shoes, getting up... and jumping to grab on a rafter. He oulls himself up, and carefully places the soles of his feet against the underside of the wooden beam, and then lets go of his hand-grip...

And there he is, 'standing' upside-down. "Unfortunately it takes a few years to learn."

Amanda is just staring in shock as she watches, she knows what she is seeing but it still takes a few moments to register. When it does she smiles, "I'm not going anywhere."

Ryu chukles and nods, reversing the process to climb down. "We can start tomorrow."

She doesn't bounce at least not high.

"Great" she jumps in when he lands and plants a light kiss.

The kiss is gladly accepted. "And I bet that along you will pick a few other useful skills too..."

"I look forward to it."

[falconryu]

"And along the way, I am sure you will pick a few more tricks here and there about how to go unnoticed and how to not be remembered by people you do not wnat to remember you... and on how to walk over dried leaves without making a sound, and how to climb a wall without ay tools." Ryu nods, kissing her forehead. "I will teach you all I can."

Amanda is in heaven, what incredible possibilities. "I do not think I am bored any longer." because she had been since the holiday ended.

"Oh, that is good. Idle hands end up to no good at all. And most of the time, no fun either." Ryu chuckles low, drawing her into a new, longer kiss.
