A girl in a steel-gray unitard also happens to be sitting in the rafters a few yards away from where Bumblebee is clambering up.

She studies the markings for a moment. "Well, it doesn't look like anything from Dr. C's stash," she says, "but we're still tryin' to find all the pieces that got stolen..."

Bumblebee thinks for a while.

"The Allspark landed on Earth thousands of years ago," he says. "It didn't move until just this year. Do you operate in Nevada?"

She shakes her head. "Toronto, Canada. Never been that far south, myself--and I doubt Dr. C's ever left the city limits."

"Oh. Well, then, that's different."

He thinks for a moment, rubbing the dust off his fingers.

"Have you ever been to the north of the Arctic Circle?"

"No, why?"

"The tyrant I spoke of crash-landed there, and the shock of going from re-entry to the Arctic waters sent his system into stasis lock," says Bumblebee. "He remained there until 1932."

"Huh. Well, I'm from '34 and I don't recall hearin' anything about that on the newsreels."

"If your world is the same as mine, you probably wouldn't have heard about it at all," says Bumblebee. "The American government kept it a very tight secret. But it might not be your world at all. Do you know of a city called Las Vegas?"

"Yeah, what about it?"

[prob_japanese]

"If you have a city by that name, you don't live on my Earth," says Bumblebee simply. "We have a city called Mission City on the same site instead."

[trustydriver]

The Flying Squirrel eyes him for a moment.

"Tell me somethin'. In your universe, did a talking dog ever act as Prime Minister of Canada?"

[prob_japanese]

"I don't know," says Bumblebee. "I would have to check the Internet, and I don't have Internet access here."

[trustydriver]

"The how much?"
