At some point during the holiday season, Jim stops in the Bar for coffee, and the bar makes sure that his cup comes with Sariel's gift. He wasn't expecting such a gift, and while a small part of him wants to note that such presents really aren't necessary, it's impossible not to find the small model charming. He always did see a certain elegance in that class of starship.

He'll ask her about who would make such a thing next time he sees her. For now, he will appreciate the gift, and figure where to put it in his quarters.

Will receives his gift with his morning tea and leaves a carefully written note for Sariel and a small not quiet neatly wrapped box, inside the box is a wooden pendant of an oak tree: Happy Christmas Sariel, I saw this and thought of ye, the wood is from Sherwood herself. Thank ye for yer kindness.

Sariel will receive a very seasony gift back: four pounds of Chocolate Chip cookies and Brownies, homemade, chewy texture, buttery aroma, fresh baked (thanks to Bar-powers), made with vanilla and real butter.

The gift is a surprise to Lucy, who didn't even think that they still celebrated such things in Sariel's time. So she's especially pleased to drop off her own gift for the Starfleet officer: a model of Lucy's own death-ray that doesn't actually have a destructive feature, but instead projects images from St. Lucia.
