Two of Preventers' best and brightest are in the bar again. Sally's sprawled comfortably on a sofa and thumbing through a copy of the ESUNPA's quarterly journal, pausing occasionally to scribble something in a margin before marking the page. We all know which one Hughes will be bothering, don't we? His weakness for a certain pretty woman is starting to be well known, and it's not going to die off anytime soon.

"You look busy," he muses, standing before her couch. "Should I come back later?" There's a smile on his lips as he says this, and while he's suggested leaving her alone, he doesn't really seem to actually plan on taking off. His feet are firmly planted.

"You have absolutely no intention of actually doing that, do you?" Sally looks amused. "So asking you to come back later wouldn't do me any good. Not that I'd turn down the offer of your company, of course." She un-sprawls so that Hughes can sit down if he wants; Zechs seems unperturbed by the man's arrival, though he does politely stop resting his feet on top of the coffee table.

"I haven't seen you around lately," Sally notes, her expression suggestion that she strongly disapproves of this fact.

Hughes takes the offer of a place to sit down. "I'm always around," he says. "You just need to know where to look."

Oh, how mysterious sounding! Really, she wasn't the only one to comment on it, and perhaps he did need to get himself more socialized again. But everyone moved at their own pace, and he didn't feel the need to push himself past his own.

"Well, people say that I'm very good at solving puzzles, and people. Figuring them out or simply hunting them down. Life story of a psychologist-turned-intel-agent." She smiles, completely innocently. "I'll just figure out where to look, if you're planning on playing the Mr. Mysterious card."

Not that she's going to start stalking the guy, or bothering him when he doesn't want to be bothered.
