It probably wasn't a good sign that he actually had to think about that question. Finally he shrugged, a faint, almost wry, twist catching the corner of his mouth, "Goes. Same as always I figger."

He did, however, smile more honestly at the liquor, accepting it with an equally quiet: "Merci."
He tilted his head, eyeing the redhead as he took a long pull of the bourbon, "How've t'ings been f'you?"
