There's certainly someone who's not going to complain about Rachel's casual clothing choice. Nor does he have any gripes about her reading, but he does try and take a glance at the cover as he takes a seat opposite, slumping heavily in a comfortable looking armchair.

"Is that the latest fashion?" He questions with a light smirk, watching her with interest. He, as always, is suited up. Black suit, black shirt.. the usual.

The book is just a book of mixed poetry. Rachel looks to the voice. Mmm...she definitely does not mind him. A slight smirk comes to her face before she speaks up. "Well, it's the least amount of clothing I can wear without being 'indecent'." Rachel doesn't do the air quotes for that last bit as she could see Brooke doing. "Plus, it's kind of comfy." She says with a smile.

"Doesn't look so bad either," he adds innocently, smirk growing. "I think you can get just as many heads turning in that."

Seeing as he's settled now and perfectly satisfied with the company, he clicks over a waitrat to order a strong coffee.

"Thanks." She knew how awkward this could be, yet it wasn't in the least bit. She liked how the fact that they had sex didn't need to be discussed or anything. It was unusual, but refreshing. "What about you? Ever get out of that suit? Besides, you know..."

"Rachel. How are you?" A familiar face, in very interesting clothing. Anyway, Ryu would come talk with her even if Rachel were wearing eleven layers of clothing.

She looked to him with a smile, as her hand went to bookmark the page. "I'm good. Staying warm." She said with a sip of her tea. "You?"

"Staying busy, sometimes too busy." He grins a bit. "Work has been hectic, and my free time did shrink awfully for a while." There is a casual, admirative glance over her.

Rachel's used to the glances. So, it's kind of routine, but still appreciated. "Shame. You know what they say, all work and no play makes for a very dull existence. Happy you're back here. Breaking away." She said with a nod. Rachel did her fair share of work, but she really found a somewhat equal balance to play as well.
