There's an Yrael stretched out before the fireplace, transcribing notes from English into the shorthand that Charter Mages use for complicated spellwork.

Very complicated spellwork, in this case.

He looks... tired.

A cup of coffee (with plenty of cream added) is quietly placed near at hand.

The area by the hearth is a nice place to curl up with a hot drink.

Especially when there is a nice, warm pillow on hand? He wouldn't mind, most likely.

"Thank you," he says, glancing up a moment after the coffee is set down.

"You're welcome." Quietly, and with a faint smile as Svava sits down on the floor crosslegged, leaning back against one of the armchairs.

"Seemed as if you could use it."

"I probably could," he nods, finishing another little section of the intricate pattern of symbols, somewhere between lace and DNA.

Once he finishes that bit, he shifts his weight onto his right elbow so he can take the cup of coffee and take a sip.

Ginny walks over seeing him, stopping when she realizes he was busy. She has a box of cupcakes she was going to share with him

Cupcakes are nice, but Yrael is rather engrossed in his work, tonight. He'll need poking to be alerted to the fact that someone wants his attention.

Currently, he's writing down the pattern of Charter Marks for the emotions connected to recalled memories.

Ginny walks over slowly, if he is busy she will just leave him one.

"Hello"

Yrael finishes the little chain of symbols, tiny and written in spidery writing, before looking up.

"Oh, good evening, Ginny."

There's also a Momiji, slipping up nearby, leaning over the not-cat a little and looking over all of the fancy writing.

"...Busy?"

He looks so worn out! Poor not-cat.

Little symbols crowd the page in an intricate pattern that could almost be called lace.

If lace were ever this complicated.

"Just a bit," he glances up at Momiji with a smile. "But not too busy."

Eee, there are so many of them. And he can't make heads or tails of them at all!

He's getting a lot of that, lately, actually.

"What're you doing?"

"Double-checking details."

"We're almost done, and everything needs to be exactly as it should be, or else it won't work."

And that would be bad.
