It's a few weeks until Halloween in her world and Kim walks into the bar, trying not to drop a large box of decorations. She's focused on holding onto the sides of the cardboard, not noticing that she's no longer in her living room or anywhere near the front door. Not until she puts down the box does she realize that she's back in Milliways

Jack's in the bar, his suit jacket and tie tossed over a chair. Someone needed a drink to unwind after meeting with a client.

Seeing Kim come in, he stands and heads over to her. "Hey, sweetheart. What's in the box?"

She looks up and grins, "Hi Dad," she stands to hug him. Every day she's reminded of how close she came to losing him again, and their relationship now she wouldn't trade for anything.

Her expression becomes serious.

"Oh, just a severed head - " she can't keep a straight face very long.

Jack looks a little startled, until he notices her poker face starting to crack. "Uh-huh. Nice try, Kim."

"I'm getting better at that serene look," she grins. "It's just a box of decorations...I thought it would be fun to make the house...creepier."
