The back door opens, and a man strolls in. He's not unfamiliar with the bar, though it's been several months since he was last there, and there's a wide grin on his face as he looks around.

He's there for a specific purpose, but... well, he has a whole day to do it in. He can socialise a little as well.

Come and welcome him back.

Teja is taking a break from his forge-work, sitting at a table with bread and tea, battle-axe at hand.

Seeing the newcomer, he wonders if that is yet another pirate.

Only temporarily.

He catches the look and his eyebrows go up when he spots the battle-axe.

Teja reaches out to touch the blade of his battle-axe, but nods in greeting, nevertheless.

An assembly of pirates indeed - but 'no tortuga' as Captain William Turner had said, about this place.

Norrington nods back to him, unconcerned, then glances around the room once more, looking for Elizabeth.

At some point after Norrington's arrival, someone else enters the bar from the door that leads out to the lake. He'll have to return to Port Royal soon, but there is time enough for a glass of wine before he departs.

And possibly time enough for other things as well.

Norrington is still there, because after all he has his orders. He looks up quickly at the sound of the door, then bows to the man who enters.

And as is proper, Merriman returns the bow.

'I must confess that I had not expected to see you here, Mister Norrington,' he says quietly. 'In light of the general circumstances.'

"I'll admit that this would not be my choice of afterlife", Norrington says cordially. "But then, it isn't my afterlife. I've entered Captain Turner's service."
