All the crazies come out at Halloween, or at least that's how it's seemed to Sally Po. Were she a woman of less education, and with beliefs more firmly rooted in superstitious nonsense, she might even hazard the opinion that HQ were haunted, or at least that there were evil spirits following her for the majority of the day

What was the word he had heard? Retro, perhaps?

"Well, well, if it isn't the General! I'd been wondering where you'd gotten to, Maes. It's good to see you again." She sets her lantern down on the bar's surface. "As for the clothing... Well, it's for Halloween. Bar thinks that it's grand old fun to dress people up for holidays without warning. Especially when they've had bad days and don't need to be trussed up from head to toe in corsets and petticoats."
With some difficulty, Sally manages to situate herself on one of the barstools. Then she grins at Maes. "Buy you a drink, soldier?"

Sally taps her fingers on the bar. "Bar, anything Maes wants. Put it on my tab. Oh, and tempura udon for me." She looks to Maes. "Order yourself some dinner as well, if you want. I haven't seen you around here at all, the past few months."
