Clark is finding it difficult to pay attention to the whole bar - and the lake area - and sort through photographs of craters at the same time. Eventually, he sets the pictures aside and eyes the new arrival in the vicinity of his chair.
"Can I ask what that is?" He asks, nodding to River's drink.

If River hadn't moved so oddly to begin with, X would be splitting her attention between the tea and the girl.
As it is--there is something here she does not quite understand.

"Yes," she says, giving him a serious look. She's still bent over her drink, and her hair falls about her face.
"Twiceborn," she adds, after a moment.

He hesitates, and then says, "You don't know that name from the Wolflord."
He's making sure, but he's fairly certain anyways.
