As a matter of fact, Remy was sitting on a rock by the lake, because he'd managed to get outside earlier and now he couldn't get back in, which meant that he had to find his own dinner.

Getting a fish couldn't be that hard, right? Ferrets did that kind of thing all the time, yeah?

There was a moment of OMGSHINY! When he finally caught the movement of the salamander, scrabbling down off his rock and into the shallow water, he didn't want to eat it, really, he just wanted to look at it.

The salamander was suitably wary as it scouted the area for bugs. Slowly moving along, and yes shiny with natural slime on its skin.

Ohnoes! The shiny was going to get away!

There was a splash and a flurry of little grabby paws in the water, trying to get ahold of it.

The salamander squirmed to get away, and likely not hard from the excretions on the skin. Too slippery to hold.

Will's taking a break from the chaos of the Bar and due to the magic of Millitime, has a lovely origami blue heron perched on his shoulder who tries to fly towards the salamander making Will laugh,

"What do ye see?"

Bird! Possible predator, so the salamander tried to find a rock to scurry under.

The scurrying catches Will eye and he rests a hand on the heron,

"Who's under there?"

The salamander could make out the low tone, and something seemed slightly familiar. He slowly stepped out again, peering around.
