Chloe wanders in, still carrying her cup of coffee and wearing a raggedy t-shirt, a pair of sweats, and only socks.

It's not with any humor that she thinks I bet I have a really bad case of bed-head.Her mother always told her not to plop, but she does it anyway- into a booth

Something soft and furry brushes against her leg. If she looks down to see what it is, she'll see a lion sitting next to her booth, looking up at her with golden eyes.

"Hey, Chloe," the lion says in a voice that sounds suspiciously like Jack Bauer's.

...There are so very many things wrong with this situation.

And it is to Chloe's credit that she simply answers Jack.

"Hi Jack, how long have you been a lion?" Chloe's gonna need something a little stronger than coffee, me thinks.

Trust Chloe to be the one not to react with much surprise. "A few days now. I still don't know how I ended up this way, though. How're you?"

"Okay. A little stressed out still, but otherwise fine." Beat. "I just came back here." That's supposed to mean something, but Chloe isn't sure she really wants to bring it up.

Still. "Has Chris or Kim made it back in yet?"
