It's Hiro!
The slightly chubby one without a soul patch. He waves brightly as he sees her crossing toward the booth and heads over with glee.
...except he slows a little. Something is-- off.
Or more appropriately, something is missing.
He's still smiling, but he's obviously confused. "Nee, Kaylee-chan..." Hi! How are you! You are remarkably much thinner then he last saw you! And there is no magical fanfic baby anywhere.

"Uhn. Yes," he nods. The question is there, but Hiro is Japanese. They have made seeing the obvious and politely not saying a Goddamn word about it a national past time. "Caught up on my comics. Milliways -- very good for breaks."

Also tends to make her cry. (Only twice, today -- better than yesterday.) And whether it's this Hiro or the one in the infirmary...
She likes him.
So why stop conversation? "Reckon so," she says. "I know somebody who's been catchin' up on -- movies." It's not her word for them, and it's kind of obvious. "And I guess -- you can get 'em through the bar, right?"
