"Oh this is more for pleasure, trying to pick out a place to travel to for a vacation." Dot looks up from her work, setting down the pamphlets of New Orleans attractions and possible hotel sites. "I just got out of work, myself though so I'm probably still in office mode. Fried paradox?"
"They're a specialty of Milliways, I don't know how they do it, but it's pretty much compatible with all forms of life, so maybe that's where the paradox comes in." Dot takes a few dipping them into a slightly glowing green sauce. Mhhm. Definitely going to have to ask Bar what was in that one.
"It's about the same here... I'm at the point where my staff are pretty much putting up warning signs about what mood I'm in."
When it gets to that point, you're 16 pixels away from a complete nervous breakdown.
"Y'know, I seen Bob with some'a those things," Mouse says, glancing over the pamphlets on Dot's table. "You two plannin' a honeymoon or somethin' like that?" She's joking. Sort of. A little.
"Oh it's a little too early for a honeymoon." You'd need a wedding first, and Las Vegas was the first place to go off the list. "Just a vacation away from the office and relentless media sprites."
Dot gestures to the seat across from her and the plate of fried paradoxes. "I think we've got a place picked out..."
Mouse slides into the offered seat, plucking a fried paradox from the plate. "Can't blame ya. But Dot, do us all a favor an' don't waste yer vacation worryin' that the system'll go down without ya." Yes, Dot does need to be reminded of this.
"That's not what I'm worried about anymore, really." Dot leans back finishing off her first Eliza of the evening and waving for another. "You'd better keep an eye out for anyone snooping about what happened during Daemon's stay, I swear that the media is out 'hunting' for rogue game sprites to interview."

She smiles.
"Everyone seems to be working, today. Not, of course, that I can say much."

"You can fry these? I had no idea they were even concrete?"
They are very tasty, though, she'll give them that.
"And--vacation? I can't be sure, but it may be years since I've had one of those."
