 Bartlet's been in and out, and now here he is again.

His door seems to appear on a whim. Surely it's coincidence that it appears when  he stopped looking for it.

Perhaps it's the "Landlord" manifesting a sense of humor.  Of course, patrons here would say that that was the tip of the iceberg.

New people are one thing. Senior staffers are quite another.

Josh doesn't slack. He's never been a "slacker," even if some might like to point out, somewhat unfairly, that he is a member of the so-called "slacker generation." But hey, Milliways is a big old pocket of borrowed time, and when you work at the White House, sometimes escaping into a crazy bar at the end of the universe is just what you need to relax.

Which would be why Josh, who had been lounging sideways in a booth, people-watching, startles magnificently, with a great deal of noise, at the sight of his Commander in Chief wandering past.

Josh, to Bartlet's mind, has an expression reminiscent of a moose in his headlights, when the aforementioned C-in-C looks to see what the noise is all about.
He regrets now more than ever not having a camera in his possession.
However, maybe next time.
"Afternoon," he greets Josh affably. "I didn't know you'd found this place too, Josh."

"Having a cup of the universe's best java, with any luck? And no need to be," he pauses, gives Josh a slightly warning look, "quite so formal here. I don't think job titles mean much outside our own universe, at any rate."

"Welcome to join me, if you aren't here with other plans in mind."
