She looks a little nervous, as if through means completely illogical she had some clue that her time in this place is nearly over *coughmetacough*.

That said, she sits by the window and watches, waiting for any of her lovely friends/lovers/worshippers to come by.

Flynn plops down in a chair across from her.

"Hiya, Mary."

She blinks.

"Oh. Hello."

[librarian_flynn]

"What? No, 'oh, Flynn, you remembered!' or 'it's so good to see you, my long lost half-brother who I was separated at birth from but somehow managed to accumulate just as long a list of academic credentials'?"

He leans his chair back and props his feet up on the table.

"You've got a lot of people upset, you know."

She blinks.

"Upset? With me? Why?"

She beams at him (really, it's almost like a CareBear but from her face) and pats a seat beside her.

"Zuko, my love."

His hand is over hers a moment later, and he smiles at her. See? Happy Zuko isn't so hard.

"How are you doing? I haven't been able to pin you down..." well, beyond that one time in the woods with the ankles that did incredible things... "I was hoping to introduce you to Seargent Wells."

She smiles, though it's a little brittle.

"He doesn't like me. I... sort of met him before."

She leans against him now.

"That doesn't mean you'll toss me aside, does it?"
