Angela comes into the bar, a little flushed and irritated, and orders water from the bar. Even if she could use something a little stronger right now

Melou, fully male once more, drops into a chair beside her.

"Hey, gorgeous."

She turns. "Hey, you're you again! Cool." She gives him a big hug. "I'm so glad to see you."

"Yeah, me too," he grins. "That really wasn't much fun."

"Believe me, I could tell you weren't enjoying yourself at all." Though really, how bad could it have been?

Upon reflection, Angela decides, it could be pretty bad.

Steph swallows on spotting Angie, particularly since her friend already doesn't look happy and Steph doesn't think what they have to talk about is going to make her any happier.

Putting bad things off never helps. She swallows again, nervously, and decides against bringing her chocolate or anything. That'd be kind of lame and probably wouldn't really help.

"Uh... Ange?" No tackle-pounce-hug for her this time.

That's...probably a good idea. Right now the temperature around Angela seems about thirty degrees colder than anywhere else in the bar.

She stands up and glares at the other girl. "What the fuck, Steph?"

Oh God she already knows. Steph swallows, unable to meet her friend's eyes.

"...guess you already know what I was coming to tell you, then," she manages, awkwardly.

Angela can feel her pulse beating in her throat, and her hands are starting to tremble again, so she clenches them into fists.

"Why?" she asks, in a cold fury of temper.
