One distraction, coming up!

There appears to be a rather distraught-looking alien being pacing around, grumbling and trying to figure something out, when the door opens and another of apparently the SAME alien - possibly the same EXACT alien - steps in, the door closing behind him. The first one turns around as the second marvels in surprise about his surroundings, and then the two notice each other at the exact same time. It's like looking into a mirror, and they both think that it's exactly what's happened, moving around at the same time, exactly mirroring each other... It was like a Marx Brothers routine!

It's like a peculiar Muggle comedy of some kind.

Like meeting your long-lost twin. Or ... something.

Just keep quiet and let those identical whatever-they-ares deal with each other?

Oh, you'd love that, wouldn't you? Just watch as they peer at each other suspiciously, make rude gestures at each other, point guns at each other... Wait, what? Yeah, funny thing about those routines. They end badly. Well...sort of badly. There was a sudden moment where the two aliens each drew a ray gun, but of different types. For those of you versed in Furon technology, it was a Disintegrator Ray and a Zap-O-Matic. For those of you NOT versed in such technologies...nevermind. The point is that at the same time, they both went "AHA!" and shot at each other, creating an impact that threw each other back in different directions. A moment later, they both got up.

"What are you? Are you me?"

"Of course, I am, you moron! D'you know anyone ELSE that looks this good?"

"Well, if you ARE me, what're you doing here?"

"Trying to find out how I got trapped here with these worthless derelicts in the Mothership!"

They don't make comedy this good. Or maybe they do, and Rabastan doesn't know it. Not many tellies in his world.

On a different note, he's wondering if these two whatzits know anything about the "no violence" rule here.

He's not on the security squad so he really should find someone who is to deal with these ... beings.

A muffin skidded along the bartop, landing directly in front of the wizard there. Thea recalled him, barely. What she remembered clearly were the things he told her about Voldemort and how she had grilled him for information.

Everyone can be saved. Seemed like a very long time ago now.

The blonde smiled at him, waving her hand.

Thea's got a better memory than Rabastan's mun has. Can't recall that meeting from way back when.

Stare. At the muffin. Bar playing jokes?

"Uhm, thanks?"

Neither could Thea's mun until she re-read the whole thread. :D

A soft snort came from the girl to the left, stifled quickly with her hand. Perhaps another muffin would help?

At least someone bothers to read the memories section. This mun doesn't, which begs the question of "why bother memory-ing things if you don't actively use it?"

Another might, but his stomach is in knots, which has the amazing ability to actually curtail the wizard's legendary appetite considerably.

He's a good sport though and polite too so he'll eat it.

"Have I met you before?" he asks. Milliways has a population of a small town-it's easy to forget people after a time.

Draco's been feeling called back home as well, and knows the time was coming soon. There were a few matters to finish first. He already told Mia, but there would be other notes to write and people to speak with.

He remarked to his uncle, "Thinking of going back soon?"

Milliways is not a "forever home". People come and they go. Eventually they leave forever. You knew this even when you first came here, that this was not a permanent residence.

"Thinking, in a way. I have to go back it's an inevitable."

I just don't like the idea of going back.

"It is our real home after all."

"It is. Maybe." He's not as sure these days. Especially now with Mia.

It's hard for Rabastan to see it as "home" himself, but a part of it is in him and he's a part of it. Wherever he goes, he'll be "that man from the Wizarding World".

"Do you have plans to go back?" he asks, worried.

The new moon has come and gone and Arianrhod is feeling a little more at peace with things, now -- thank... well, someone for that -- but she's still on very edge.

She is not the only one, though, it seems.

With a small flash of light she appears at his side and sits, taking his hand without a word.

Arianrhod's appearance earns her a startled response. He's so absorbed with his worry that, well, he isn't always paying attention to what's about him.

Also, her sudden appearances take time to get used to. Like Apparation.

"Lady," he says, now VERY AWARE of the goddess' presence next to him. "It's good to see you."

"Yes," she responds, although her voice seems miles away.

Without looking at him (or looking at anything - her eyes are a very cloudy shade of blue, today) she asks: "How are you?"

Finally he returns the gesture with his own hand, giving a light squeeze. It feels good to enjoy such simple gestures as this.

"Not so great," he admits. "I can't stop thinking about home, and what lies there beyond the door."

Well. This is new. Or perhaps unexpected.

One of the younger generation is willing to sit with him and not curse him out while doing so.

"Hello Miss Weasley."

She smiles at him

"Hello Mr. Lestrange. How are you today?"

"Tense," he admits. Lying to Ginny would serve him nothing. "The door is calling me home and although I have no wish to go, there are things that must be done there before I can rest easy again."
