Truth is, that's a power that can come in mighty handy sometimes. It was certainly enough to charm the young lady sitting before him. She slipped a slender finger between the pages of her book and smiled widely.

"Not quite, but you can try one." She wasn't planning on eating a whole basket...if she could help it.

He does specialize in charm, does ol' Skinner. He picks up a muffin--grinning that charming little grin of his, of course--bites into it, and reacts as one would if eating Campbell's Soup™ (except without the "good" at the end).

And she specialized in charms of a more literal kind, they already had something in common!

"I made them. Not as good as the ones my aunt made, but you can't be good at everything in life." Thea responded, as though imparting a wisdom that no-one could possibly figure out on their own. Forgive her, she's been surrounded by wisdom-spouting old ladies her whole life.
