It's soon, is the thing.
That's agreed, and that's true, and that's just as it must be.
The worst part is that she's not sad about it.
Sad about the people she can't take with her, but not the leaving. Which, she supposes, is proof that it's time to truly go.

(Or, perhaps, just staring at the front door.)
He's not oblivious to the rest of the room, though, not really. It's not too long before he does glance Lucy's way, and catches his sister's eye with a small smile.

He has a mug of tea rather than a proper pot today, but he does set it on the table in case she wants to steal a sip. He's well-trained that way.
