She's not the only one who hasn't been in the Bar much of late. Things have been busy at UNIT headquarters, and over in Cambridge. It keeps a man on his toes whether he likes it or not. When the door opened in the Brigadier's path without his noticing it the other day, he took it as a sign that he'd better come away and regroup for a bit; it always seems to grab him when something enormous is about to erupt.
He'll settle, however, for it being a reason to see certain people again.
"Oh, well enough, I suppose," says the Brigadier. "Nothing's attempted to exterminate me in months, and we haven't discovered anything new and hostile attempting to drain Britain's power grid dry in the past week, so I suppose that's something. How about yourself?"
"We're back on Atlantis." Elizabeth hoists her sheaf of papers slightly. "Currently I'm overseeing the essential repairs to base functions since the attack."
As an addendum, offhand, "And there's been a door here in my office since April."
