"Why," John wonders aloud as he passes by, "would a trash bin be offering counseling services?"

"Oh. Well, that's... something that I could see one being proud of. Why could I not just do it in front of her, then?"

John has very healthy lungs.

"Would you want someone to come up to you and start breathing in your face?"

John takes a moment to ponder that.

"No," he answers, eventually. "I suppose that would be uncomfortable."

Pause.

"She would know it was me if I were to leave her unsigned messages."

[dalekity]

"How?!"

[obnoxiousadams]

"Because I confessed my love for her just last night!"

He leans in, then, as if he's about to tell Dalek a secret.

"She is also not the most pleasant woman," he mutters. "Although she is very beautiful."

[dalekity]

"That might give her a hint, yes."

Beat.

Also muttered. Or screeched a little bit quieter: "Have you considered a lobotomy?"

"Lobotomy?"

Also something John has never heard of. Luckily, he knows Latin!

"Or hers. If you cut your own, you won't care any more. If you cut hers, she won't care that you lack the necessary attractiveness."

Glare.

"At least I am not a giant heap of metal," he mutters.

"I do not think she would appreciate such an act, anyway."

"She won't care, afterwards."

[obnoxiousadams]

"She probably won't care about that, either."

John facepalms, sighing.

"I do not wish to harm her."

[dalekity]

"You said you do not like her personality. Once the scar is covered with hair, she'll look exactly the same, she just won't do anything other than stare."
