For the first time in nearly a year, he's surrounded by the sea.
The Black Pearl rests in the center of the bay, rocked by salt waves and warm Caribbean winds, and her captain stands on her quarterdeck, staring toward the sunset, looking toward that distant point where sea and sky meet.

Jack flicks a glance out over the water again as he says this -- it's been so long, it's hard to look away -- then tilts his head back once more to look up at Wellard.
"And I'm of a mind to be sailing sooner rather than later, savvy?"

Bringing the ocean to the lake could be done as well- and would be even more welcome, in his mind.
Wellard relaxes, and then grins down to Jack. "Sooner than later. Yes, sir!"

Jack grins up at him, then hastens on, toward the bow, hands already itching to grasp lines and lanyards, then to take the wheel once more.
