Juri makes a rather imposing, if comical, addition to the room’s atmosphere, standing wide-eyed as she looks up slowly from the floor through her tightly curled orange locks

Kindness is Scarlet's middle name.

Well, not quite, but it is of her interest to at least seem kind for now, so the newcomer is offered a smile. "Good evening. Your first time here?"

"There are rooms upstairs. The bar can provide clothes, and food, and nother necessities." Gently, Scarlet touches the girl's arm. "I will take care of expenses for you, and we can settle it later, when your door returns." Because of course it will return. Right?

"That is... very kind of you." She does not like being in other people's debt, but she sees no logical way around it.

She sips a bit more at her drink absently, not knowing what else to do.

"I just like helping, dear." She smiles, friendly and open.

Helping, and having people in her debt. "From where you come, and when?"

Juri smiles half-heartedly back. "I'm a student of Ohtori Academy in Hou'ou City, Japan. It is... was... 1997."

"I come from Seattle, Washington... the United states, and the year 2000. I work there as a broker and investment advisor." She pats the girl's hand. "You will be fine."

Juri isn't so sure... but does not voice her opinion.

"Would you mind showing me how to get a room and necessities? I think I should lay down for a while." She isn't really tired, but she always thinks best in solitude.

Plus, she needs to stop drinking. Her head feels a bit fuzzy and her throat has gone a bit numb.

"Very well, come with me." She stands and offers a hand, going to retrieve from bar a room key, a bag with necessities, and of course, explain the sentient bar to Juri.

Oh yes, instruct Bar to charge all of Juri's expenses to her won tab.

Juri takes Scarlet's hand and stands. She follows with her arms folded, trying to take in all the information the woman gives to her.

Not too much, better to not confuse the girl overly for now. Upstairs, to the room, where Scarlet stops at the door. "If you wish to talk more later, or just to not stay alone, my room is down the hallway, number 616."

Key in hand, Juri opens the door to her room. "Thank you, Scarlet. Your generosity will not be forgotten."

With a polite bow, she retreats into her room.

And the devil retreats to her own, pondering future plans. Being evil is a demanding task, including building a trust base for later.
