The full moon is steadily creeping up again, thus Captain Ryan is much more comfortable outdoors than in. Of course that doesn't mean he's just standing about out there. You'll find him over near the pells beating out a steady wood-on-wood tattoo.

He's been there awhile.

Harry pauses nearby, wearing a sweater and keeping her hands in her pockets.

For a bit she watches. The rhythm is soothing.

[andalsoacts]

"Just long," Harriet says. "And it's a lot of people I haven't worked with before, so we're all still getting to know each other."

She shakes her head, trying to get it out of her system.

[captainryan]

"Not everyone's a team player?" he queries, keeping an eye on their surroundings as they walk. Old habits are hard to break.

[andalsoacts]

Harriet kind of sighs.

"When I started Studio 60... there were these two guys, and they were so cute. They both wanted to write for me. And they hated each other because they both wanted the same thing."

She pauses.

"And then I realized that on stage, everyone has to be a team, you have to do your absolute best because you want the same thing, too. You want the laughs and the... fame isn't really the right word. You want to be the best."

[captainryan]

"And the new recruits are more concerned with themselves? Or are the team dynamics not entirely worked out as of yet?" He tracks a demon rabbit while he speaks, but he's not that hungry yet, particularly for something that tastes of petrol.

[andalsoacts]

"It's the movie," Harriet shrugs. "No one cares about the laughs. They only care about how good they look on camera."

[captainryan]

"Mm. A pity you aren't in charge of the unit. Then you could just RTU the lot of them and get the actors who do care."

[andalsoacts]

Harriet blinks.

"RTU?"

[captainryan]

He looks away from their surroundings to her, frowning slightly. Right, civilian. He usually pays more attention to his speech than that.

"Return to unit," he explains.

[andalsoacts]

"Ah. You should come by sometime," she offers.

"We have a British writer on our show."

[captainryan]

Ryan blinks in surprise at that. "If you'd care to have me," he says after a moment, pleasantly surprised.

[andalsoacts]

"Of course." She grins

To be honest, a British Werewolf won't even be the strangest thing on set.

[captainryan]

He's dead too! Does that help?

Honestly, he's glad for any chance to get out of the bar.

"Sometime after the moon here, then? And when it's not a full moon in your world." The last is an order. That would not be the best of situations.

[andalsoacts]

Harry salutes casually.

"Been up to anything interesting?"

[captainryan]

Ryan gives a quick tilt of his head. "Not sleeping in the woods whilst human." He arches an eyebrow and continues dryly. "Apparently they're the domain of some sort of dream master."

[andalsoacts]

"Well, we can't have you on Morpheus's watch list."
