The door opens with a ringing noise, revealing a glimpse of a relatively peaceful English village behind two men in police uniform, the smaller of whom appears to be in mid-lecture.
"You want to look out for yourself, you're still not completely well yet... Danny? Danny?"
His partner's stunned silence is the first clue that something might be out of the ordinary, and Nicholas's jaw drops as he finally takes a look at his new surroundings.
"...What the hell?"
