Looking up from his medical files, Derek leans forward and taps her gently on the shoulder, just enough to rouse her attention. He looks concerned.

And the tap on her should startles her slightly. Normally she would've heard him in her head first. But emerald green eyes look towards the stranger that she doesn't recall seeing in Milliways. Or at least she hasn't seen him in there since she'd started living there. "Can I help you?"

A look of amusement passes over his face at the question but he lets it pass. "You're shaking." He studies her for a moment before letting out an amiable smile. "I'm a doctor," he explains. "It's a force of habit. I get concerned." He takes his jacket off and offers to place it over her shoulder.

"It'll pass once my body gets used to the heat again." Which still slightly confused her. After all, with the way her abilities had been... with the way heat had radiated off of her. "Another doctor... that's interesting." Especially since she used to be one. A small smile and she lets him place it over her shoulders not that she really thought it would do any good. Her body had been like this since the loss of her powers. "All doctors get concerned easy." She knew that at Xavier's she always had. But at the same time she knew most of the mutants could handle themselves as well.
