After the time of it he's had lately, Sheppard isn't quite surprised when he finds himself in Milliways instead of his quarters. But that still doesn't stop him from muttering, "Dammit." Jack's in the bar with a beer, too, about to head home to drag Daniel to this party he's just found out about.

But then he spots Sheppard, and eyes him thoughtfully before shifting a few seats closer.

"Didn't I just send you to a galaxy far, far away?"

Sheppard raises an eyebrow as he turns. "I seem to have this habit of getting thrown out of it. It's getting kinda annoying."

"Gotta be," Jack agrees, mildly confused. Then he blinks and points a finger at Sheppard suddenly. "Let me guess -- alternate universe, future timeline, or evil clone? Or all three."

"I think the closest thing to an evil clone is over in that universe 'Rod' came from. As for the other two...well, I guess it's possible. But I know Dr. Weir and McKay are both from the same universe as me, if that helps."

He frowns to himself. "How long ago did you ship everybody off to Pegasus? because I'd kinda like to know if I'm in danger of making the timeline explode or something."

Given his experience, such a thing is entirely plausible and liable to happen if he screws up once.
